Follow up on Family Fun Day Event last Sunday, November 14, 2010.

Hello, everyone sorry I have been missing in action, busy been getting things together for events during this upcoming holiday season.  Family Fun day was a blast with  much thanks to our vendors, sponsors, volunteers and parents and children who came and out supported SCNWG to help spread awareness and wellness.  Here are some pics of the fun event from some of my vendors,  House of Flying Cards, magician performance, Cupcakes by Christina, Cookies,Kamesha the poet, By Carol & her daughter Valerie who took photos, Cakes by Kimberly who made a faboulous cake with the organization logo and President T.J. Brown's quote for the goal, DPR creating some wonderful t-shirts, Thought Coalitions helping with contribution pieces in the silent auction, along with other vendors who partipated in the silent auction.  It was great to see the kida havew fun, enjoy food and learn about Sickle Cell Anemia.  We are looking foward to our next event, keep ypu posted.  Enjoy, the pics...more pics to come.

Family Fun Day is just two weeks away!!

Best Impressions is proud to be hosting an event for Sickle Cell Natural Wellness Group.  Everybody come on out for the event, it is going to be a blast.  We are going to a variety of things going on at the event on November 14, 2010.  The flyer below explains it all.  If you would like to get involved please contact TJ Brown President of the SCNWG and follow him on Facebook at TJ/Facebook.  All volunteers are welcome, if your student who needs service hours bring your form and it will be signed and you can earn your hours.  All families are welcome with great food and entertainment!!  We are proud to be hosting an event for SCNWG!!

Slam Sause Album Release event

Thanks to all who came out and supported the Thought Coaltion's second album release Slam Sause, down at the Hazy Daze store in Fort lauderdale, Fl, on October 29, 2010.  Everyone had a blst there were some fun costumes, great appetizers, drinks, music and a great performance by Thought Coalition  performing a live mixed media piece by artists couple Greg Dirr and Yanuari Navarro.  Here are some pictures from the event.  Thought Coalition will have their next event on Saturday, December 4, 2010.  For more information on the collaboritive artists event you can follow on Facebook at Thought Coalition Event December 4, 2010.

Best Impressions on the move to get Publix involved to help with non-profit organization.

I am ecstatic and hoping the Lord will have Publix help with either sponsoring or extending contributions to the upcoming Sickle Cell Natural Wellness Group events in mid-November.  All in all this would be great exposure for store 1137 located by the Parkland Golf and Country Club.  If Publix 1137 extends a helping hand I will be extreemely happy for the non-profit organization and see this as a major stand out for this store  and SCNWG, because they will raise awareness to the local community to attend the event and see what an involved crew is managed at this specific Publix.  So everyone keep your fingers crossed and there is know doubt in my mind that Publix will make the effort to help us out for the event!

Just wanted to post some pictures from the first trial event of Best Impressions for the Grand Opening of Hazy Daze, in Fort lauderdale, Fl.  Store owner is Steve Truglio and the store has some great items to add to your home, aroma therapy, handmade crafts such as jewelery, candlles,  custom t-shirts, collaboration in artwork pieces from Thought Coalition.  Featuring artists couple Greg and Yanuari and other coalition members, and custom t-shirts for non-profit Organization for Sickle Cell natural Wellness Group.

Welcome, to Best Impressions Blog & upcoming events.

Hello, everyone this is Elizabeth K, kicking the first blog off for Best Impressions.  Best Impressions has some great events coming up and I will be loading pictures up of some cool events we will be planning in the next few weeks. 


Our upcoming events, are October 29, 2010 down at Hazy Daze in Fort Lauderdale, Fl.  Hazy Daze is hosting an Album release party for Thoughtcoaliton, their second"instrumental"  installation album.  This is going to be a great event with a performance by the musicians-artists themselves, a silent auction with proceeds going to the Sickle Cell Natural Wellness Group, delicious treats and drinks will be served  in favor of the upcoming Halloween weekend, and don't forget to wear your costumes because there is a contest! The cover charge is $5 at the door and for ages 18 and up. This is going to be one fun event so come out and support Thought Coalition and see the new HazyDaze store that Best Impressions did the grand opening event for September 17, 2010. 

In addition, we are involved with some great non-profit events planed for the Sickle Cell Natural Wellness Group in mid November on the 14th "Family Fun Day" and the 18th is "King of the Mic", details will be posted soon once I get the flyers for the November 14, event, but here is the flyer for the 18th event.
